The Revd. T. Brady Eggleston, Transitional Pastor
Revd. Eggleston was Fort Bragg, North Carolina, and as a “military brat” grew up moving from place to place to place. Those places include North Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee, Virginia, and Pennsylvania. They also include living in Austria as well as living in the Philippines. He graduated from Gordon High School in Decatur, Georgia; Concordia Lutheran College in Austin, Texas; Concordia Senior College in Fort Wayne, Indiana, and Wartburg Theological Seminary in Dubuque, Iowa. Ordained in what was then The American Lutheran Church, now the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, he has served congregations in Saint Petersburg, Florida; Palmyra, Wisconsin; and Cedarburg, Wisconsin. Then he went on to what he thought would be a three-year detour as Chaplain in the US Army. That detour extended all the way out to full retirement. Since Army retirement nearly twelve years ago, he has served as a Transitional Pastor in four congregations, two in San Antonio, Texas, one in Garden Ridge, Texas, and one in Bandera, Texas. He met my bride, Jan, at a party in Germany. She is retired from the Army as well and served as an Associate Professor at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill following the Army. In their “yours, mine, and our family”, they have six daughters, three of whom are adopted. Heather and Jessica live in Saint Petersburg, Florida; Amanda lives in the Baltimore area; Olivia lives in Xenia, Ohio; Brittany attending Wartburg Theological Seminary in Dubuque, Iowa; and Michelle lives nearby on the family ranch outside of Milburn, Oklahoma. they have two granddaughters, Haley and Savannah, and three grandsons, Jason, Jacob, and Reese.
